Quota, plans, packs, data : answers to the questions we get asked most.

What is a generation?
A generation corresponds to the creation of a visual from your description. The daily quota is measured in tokens consumed : a long brief or a complex visual consumes more than a simple one. The number of generations indicated per plan is an approximation based on an average brief.
What time does the daily quota reset?
Every day at midnight UTC. The interface displays the time remaining before the next renewal.
What happens when I reach my quota?
A message tells you your quota is exhausted. If you have extra credits, you can use them to continue. Otherwise, a credit pack is offered. The quota is renewed the next day at midnight UTC.
Do credit packs expire?
No. Pack credits never expire once activated. They complement your daily quota and can be used whenever you need them, with no time limit.
Can I combine a subscription and credit packs?
Yes. Packs complement the daily quota of your plan. They are available on Free, Starter and Pro plans ; not on the Agency plan, whose quota is defined by contract.
Do I need to install any software?
No. Ask N Pic works entirely in the browser : no installation, no plugin. You describe your visual, customize it, download it. That is all.
Which formats can I export?
JPEG on all plans. PNG export is available from the Starter plan. SVG export is available from the Pro plan.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Subscriptions are monthly, with no commitment, cancellable at any time from your personal space. No notice required.
What happens to my visuals if I change plan?
If you downgrade, your visuals and templates beyond the new plan limits are kept but temporarily inaccessible. They are reactivated if you return to a higher plan. If you delete your account, your briefs and visuals are made unreadable immediately and deleted. Technical metadata with no personal content (date, visual type) are kept 30 days for internal audit, then permanently purged.
Can I give Ask N Pic access as a gift?
Yes. You can give a credit pack or one month of subscription (Starter or Pro). After payment, you receive a gift code to pass on to the recipient, who activates it on their account. The code is valid for 1 year.
Is the Agency plan right for me?
The Agency plan is for creative agencies producing visuals in volume for multiple clients. It includes a custom quota, unlimited members, a subdomain in your brand colours, dedicated support (~24 h) and a 2h onboarding. The price is set by quote according to your needs. Contact us
Is my data secure?
Your data is hosted in Europe (Infomaniak, Switzerland), outside Cloud Act jurisdiction. None of your briefs transit through OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. Zero resale, zero advertising tracking. Rights of access, rectification and deletion available at any time.

What is the difference between joining the beta and the launch alert?
The beta list gives you early access to test the product, share your feedback and earn concrete rewards. The launch alert is a simple email when the solution is publicly available. No commitment. See the beta programme in detail →
Are my briefs used to train the AI?
Your generations may contribute to model improvement only on our European infrastructure, never through a third party. You can opt out at any time from your personal space or by email, without justification. For beta testers, this consent is explicit at registration. See our privacy policy.
How will I know if I have been selected as a tester?
Selection is done by hand, in waves after receiving a sufficient number of applications. If you are selected, you receive an invitation email with instructions to create your account and access the beta. We encourage you to apply even if you are not sure you match 100% of the profile : diversity of experience and perspective is an important criterion for us. Applying early maximises your chances.
What types of visuals can Ask N Pic generate?
Ask N Pic generates three categories of graphic designs :

- Visual identity : business card, event badge, brand guidelines, email signature, profile banner.

- Structured communication : infographic, LinkedIn carousel slides, presentation slides, flyer, web banner, newsletter template.

- Social media visuals : post images in native formats for Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, ready to publish.

Can I generate photos, illustrations or realistic images?
No, and it is a deliberate choice, not a technical limitation. Ask N Pic generates only structured graphic designs, each element of which remains editable after generation. Realistic photos, figurative illustrations, 3D renders and complex animations are out of scope. If your brief approaches them, the closest composition within the authorised scope is generated, without the excluded elements.
Does the complexity of a visual depend on my plan?
Yes. Each plan defines a maximum number of editable elements per generated visual. Free: up to 8 elements (simple business card, badge, quote post, single carousel slide). Starter: up to 20 elements (3–4 block infographic, flyer, single carousel slide up to 4–5 slides). Pro: up to 50 elements (brand guidelines, newsletter template, single carousel slide up to 8 slides). Note: a carousel is generated one slide at a time ; each slide counts as one generation against your daily quota. The Agency plan is customizable with no defined limit.
